Filings first
Our Strategy data comes from SEC filings. We link the source and identify the period each number describes. Company releases or other primary sources may provide context when clearly attributed. We do not republish another tracker’s tables or Strategy’s dashboard artwork.
Reported quantities are retained at the precision in the filing. Calculations are identified as our calculations, with their inputs and method. Unverified claims do not become facts through repetition.
Label the kind of article
News reports a development. Data presents a documented record. Explainer describes a subject. Analysis interprets evidence. Opinion states a view. Our advocacy is described on the point-of-view page.
We name company-defined metrics as the company’s own. BTC Yield is not a cash yield, and mNAV has no useful meaning without a formula and date. Predictions are attributed to whoever made them.
Give adverse developments proper space
Sales, pauses, dilution, missed objectives and capital risks receive coverage alongside purchases. Our support for Bitcoin does not justify removing inconvenient periods from a chart or omitting a relevant financing obligation.
Review before publication
New filing data is prepared as a draft and checked before publication. Automated detection is not permission to publish. We distinguish filing dates from reporting periods, check multiple periods within one filing, and retain the reported balance when rounded inputs do not add exactly.
Correct visibly
Material factual corrections receive a dated note on the affected page and an entry in the corrections log. The entry explains what was wrong and what changed. Routine spelling fixes need not be logged. We do not silently replace a material financial figure.
Disclose what is known
The site is independent and not affiliated with Strategy Inc. The owner’s holdings disclosure is not yet supplied; its status page says so. Readers should not interpret an incomplete disclosure as a statement that the owner has no relevant holdings.
We use a house byline, and do not invent people, credentials, endorsements or a founder story. We do not publish personal holdings without the owner’s permission. Any future sponsorship or paid link must be identified where it appears.
Keep information separate from personal advice
We do not provide buy/sell calls, price targets, model portfolios or personal suitability judgments. Explaining a security’s terms or risks does not establish that it is appropriate for a reader. Readers should inspect the issuer documents and make decisions appropriate to their own circumstances.
